Her long career span in education, from being a college lecturer to head of institutions to donning the hat of an academic advisor, has equipped her well with a keen understanding of the psyche of parents, teachers, and students of all stripes. She is the recipient of the President’s National Award, CBSE Award, Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi Award, and Dr. Radhakrishnan Award, and has authored many books for children apart from books on poetry and environment. She is currently an Academic Advisor and Pedagogy Consultant to a publishing house. Wearing many hats, Goldy Malhotra is an educationist, writer, poet, painter, and actor.

About the exam:

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) twice a year to shortlist candidates for appointment as teachers in classes I to VIII. There are two CTET test papers in the exam, that is, Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates who plan to teach classes I-V need to give Paper-I and candidates who plan to teach classes VI-VIII need to take Paper-II.
