The book promises to be a good read, not just because of the biographic sketch, but because of the issues, concerns and possible solutions suggested by him.
Sanjeev Chopra (IAS)
Ex-Director, LBSNAA, Mussoorie.

The book encourages the readers to seek answers to tough questions about why we as a nation have performed suboptimally.
The title of the book Small Things Matter drives the readers attention to this critical aspect of administration and governance. Good, democratically mandated policies can produce the desired results only when the minute details are recognised honestly and addressed proficiently. Throughout the book, there are anecdotes, which drive home the importance of detail.
I hope lots of civil servants and proud Indians read this book, get inspired by the selfless work of the author and get to understand the yeomans work of nation-building carried out by the Indian bureaucracy in all walks of life of our nation.
